Candlelight Events

Every year, the Friends host a candle light ski in the park. It is a great time to get out and see the park when the ice is glittering and the sounds are hushed.

You'll see us there around the campfire, serving up warm drinks and friendly tales or taking time out to enjoy the trails.

Fall Candlelight Hike

2010 Candlight Hike will be Saturday, October 9th.

Many of the details are still being determined, but you can bet it will be a wonderful time! Hikers will enjoy the wonder of autumn as they stroll through the forest.
Food will be for sale in the concession stand. There will be a bonfire and the stuff to make s'mores provided by the Friends. Park at the Cox Hollow beach area.

This is the perfect event to volunteer your services. Set-up will be about an hour before hike time and take down will be immediately after the hike. All help is appreciated!
